Irish Welfare provides help, assistance and advice to the most vulnerable members of the Irish community in areas such as; health, accommodation, welfare benefits, community care services and alcohol services.

Our Vision-

Our mission statement is "Helping to Build a Vibrant Irish Community in the Midlands". We aim to ensure that all members of the Irish commuinity can play a full part in the multi-cultural community of the West Midlands.

Programmes and Activities-

We provide the following projects/services: 1. The Irish Alcohol Project - help and support to those who wish to address their alcohol problem. 2. Befriending Programme - volunteer opportunities. 3. The Irish Older Adults Project - outreach support for older Irish people. 4. Community Care Project - frontline advice in the areas of:community/health care services, mental health services, accommodation, welfare benefits, debt, racial harassment. 5. The Irish Older Adults Primary Care Project - provides access to culturally sensitive primary care services for vulnerable older Irish people. 6. The Tuesday Club - a weekly club for 200 older Irish people. 7. St. Eugene's Court & Drop-in Centre - a supported housing project and Drop-in Centre for older Irish men. 8. Supporting People Project.
